To find a subject in this light can make even the most “boring” of species even more beautiful. So to find a beautiful dark maned male lion as the sun caught the glint in his eye was a special treat. Though the phrase golden hour may be misleading, the time that the sun gives you to catch moments like this can often be fleeting.
